Main Board
Main Board is the largest committee and has the widest membership. This group serves as a place for partners in safeguarding to share information and good practice. This is also a place where multi-agency policies produced by the BSCB receive final approval from all agencies involved.
The Board is Chaired by the Director of Children’s Services, Gillian Pearson and Vice Chaired by the Assistant Director for Children’s Social Care, Merlin Joseph, allowing the Board to benefit from a joint Education and Social Care leadership. Membership of the Main Board is made up of representatives from:
